Retail Cleaning for Spotless Customer-Facing Spaces
Triple ISO certified retail cleaning for stores and showrooms across Australia.
V.I.P. provides retail cleaning services across Australia for boutiques, showrooms, supermarkets, specialty stores and shopping centre tenancies.
Retail cleaning is judged on what customers can see. Entry glass, floor condition, mirrors and fitting rooms get the most attention in a V.I.P. scope because they get the most attention from shoppers.
Your local V.I.P. franchisee cleans before you open or after you close, works to a written scope covering each area and frequency, and is police-checked and fully insured.

Cleaning That Never Gets in the Way of Trade
Before you open
An early morning clean means the store is presentable the moment the doors open, with floors dry and glass clear before the first customer walks in.
After you close
An evening clean suits stores that finish at a consistent time. Floors can be scrubbed or machine-cleaned properly without customers on the floor.
Around extended and weekend trading
For stores with late nights or seven-day trading, your franchisee builds the schedule around your roster, not the other way around. Your franchisee builds the schedule around your roster, not the other way around.
Peak trading and sale periods
Christmas, stocktake sales and promotional periods equal higher foot traffic. Additional services can be scheduled during these busy periods.
Keys, alarms and centre access
Key handling, alarm codes and after-hours access are agreed in writing before the first clean. For shopping centre tenancies, your franchisee works to the centre’s access, loading dock and contractor sign-in requirements.
No surcharge for after-hours or Saturday Cleans
Cleaning outside trading hours is normal in retail, so it shouldn’t cost more. Whether your store is cleaned before opening, after close or on a Saturday, the rate in your quote is the rate you pay.
Cleaning Across Every Store in Your Network
A multi-store network needs the same standard in every location, including the regional stores that sit outside most cleaning contractors’ coverage.
V.I.P. has franchisees across metropolitan and regional Australia, so a national or multi-store retailer gets a local owner-operator at every site working to the same scope, the same standards and the same audit process.
Multi-site arrangements are coordinated through V.I.P. so you are not negotiating separately with every location.
State-based Operations Managers audit sites regularly, so you get consistency across the network.
Why Australian Retailers Choose V.I.P.
The same cleaner, not a rotating crew
Your V.I.P. franchisee is a local business owner who services their own clients. The same person or team is in your store each visit, so they learn your layout, your fixtures and how you like the floor left.
Checked and insured
Every franchisee is police-checked and fully insured, which matters when they hold keys and alarm codes for a store full of stock.
Audited quality
State-based Operations Managers audit franchisee sites regularly, so standards are maintained throughout the contract period.
Products safe for a customer-facing space
GECA-certified, environmentally responsible products, chosen to be low odour as well as effective in a customer-facing space.
Backed by our satisfaction guarantee
If you are not happy with a clean, tell your franchisee and they will return and re-clean.
Decades of experience
Australians have trusted V.I.P. with their cleaning for almost 50 years.
Why Triple ISO Certification Matters
Commercial cleaning companies can say they clean to the highest standards, but having Triple ISO Certification means three separate international standards – covering quality, safety and environmental management – have been independently audited and verified.
V.I.P. is triple ISO certified, independently verified against these three standards:
- ISO 9001 Quality Management – defined processes and a structured way of resolving issues.
- ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety – hazard management and safe work practices on your site.
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management – responsible products, reduced waste and verified practices.
All three certifications are audited annually by an external body. They cover our cleaning processes, the safety of everyone on site while we work, and the products we use.
How V.I.P. Retail Store Cleaning Works
1. Request a quote
Tell us about your practice online or call 13 26 13. We will connect you with the franchisee who covers your area.
2. Site walk-through
Your franchisee and sales manager walk the practice with you – waiting room, consulting and treatment rooms, washrooms and staff areas – and confirm what needs cleaning, how often, and when access is available around consulting hours.
3. Scope, schedule and documentation
You receive a written scope of work, a schedule covering routine and periodic cleaning, and a fixed quote. Insurance documentation is provided at the same time, and your franchisee completes your induction.
4. Ongoing service and review
Cleaning starts on your schedule. Operations Managers audit the work, and the scope is reviewed as your practice changes.
Additional Cleaning and Maintenance Services
V.I.P. franchisees can maintain the whole property, not just the sales floor:
- Carpet cleaning – steam cleaning the sales floor, fitting rooms and offices.
- Window cleaning – shopfront glass, internal glass and display windows.
- High-pressure cleaning – entries, walkways, awnings and car parks.
- Grounds and garden maintenance – lawns, gardens and green waste removal.
- Rubbish removal – general waste, cardboard and clear-outs after a refit.
- Regular office cleaning – for retailers with a separate office or head office space.
Using one provider for cleaning and grounds means fewer contractors to induct and one person to call.

FAQ's
When do you clean - during or outside trading hours
Most stores are cleaned early in the morning before opening, or in the evening after close. For stores with late nights or seven-day trading, your franchisee builds the schedule around your roster, not the other way around.
How often should a retail store be cleaned?
Most stores are cleaned daily. High-traffic stores often need the entry, floors and washrooms serviced more than once a day, while back of house and periodic works can be scheduled less often. The frequency for each area is outlined in your scope of work.
Do you clean fitting rooms and mirrors?
Yes. Fitting rooms are cleaned as a separate area of the scope – mirrors polished, floors vacuumed or mopped including under bench seating, benches and hooks wiped, and bins emptied. Mirrors and glass display cases across the sales floor are cleaned at the same frequency.
Can you clean multiple stores under one arrangement?
Yes. V.I.P. has franchisees across metropolitan and regional Australia, so every store in your network can be serviced by a local owner-operator working to the same scope and the same standards.
Will the same cleaner service our store each time?
Yes. Every V.I.P. franchisee is a local business owner who services their own clients, so the same person is in your store each visit and learns your layout and fixtures.
What cleaning products do you use?
V.I.P. uses GECA-certified products from the Enviroplus, Whiteley and Agar Green ranges. Products are chosen to be low odour as well as effective, so the store does not smell of chemicals when it opens. Safety data sheets for every product are held on site.
Do you provide insurance certificates and complete our induction?
Yes. A certificate of currency for public liability insurance is provided as part of onboarding, and your franchisee will complete your store or shopping centre contractor induction and follow the sign-in protocols that apply.
How much does retail store cleaning cost?
Retail cleaning is usually quoted as a fixed price per visit, per week or per month following a site assessment, rather than as an hourly rate. What shapes the quote is your floor area, how many days a week you need cleaning, the mix of areas in scope, and whether periodic work like carpet steam cleaning or window cleaning is included.
Your local V.I.P. franchisee and state sales manager will walk the store, assess what is actually needed and provide a fixed, obligation-free quote at no cost.
Can you work around our shopping centre's access requirements?
Yes. For tenancies inside a centre, your franchisee works to the centre’s trading hours, loading dock arrangements, after-hours access rules and contractor sign-in requirements. These are confirmed before the first clean.
What is the difference between retail cleaning and general commercial cleaning?
Retail cleaning is a specialist subset of commercial cleaning. It is scheduled around trading hours so cleaners are never around when your customers are. It prioritises the areas shoppers see first – entry glass, floors, mirrors and fitting rooms – and it uses low-odour products in a customer-facing space. V.I.P. provides general commercial cleaning alongside the specialist service.
