Medical Centre Cleaning for a Safer, Healthier Practice
Triple ISO certified medical cleaning for clinics and practices across Australia.
V.I.P. provides cleaning services across Australia for GP clinics, dental practices, allied health rooms and specialist consulting rooms.
Cleaning in a medical centre is measured against infection control standards. Your local V.I.P. franchisee works to a written scope covering each area, each surface and each frequency, so your practice has a record of what is cleaned and how often.
Every franchisee is police-checked and fully insured, uses hospital-grade disinfectants, and works with colour-coded equipment that keeps clinical, washroom and public areas separate.

Medical Clinic Cleaning for All Types of Practices
GP Clinics & Medical Centres
Single-doctor practices through to multi-practitioner medical centres with pathology collection on site. Cleaning is scheduled around consulting hours, usually after the last appointment or early in the morning before the practice opens.
Dental Practices
Surgeries, sterilisation rooms and waiting areas. Dental practices run a high number of patients through a small footprint, so floors, chairs and high-touch points need daily attention and the washrooms need more than one service on busy days.
Allied Health & Specialist Rooms
Physiotherapy, podiatry, psychology, radiology and specialist consulting suites. Treatment tables, shared equipment and gym or rehabilitation areas are cleaned alongside the consulting rooms and reception.

How We Prevent Cross-Contamination
Colour-coded equipment
Separate cloths, mops and buckets are assigned to washrooms, clinical rooms and public areas. Equipment does not move between them.
Clean before disinfect
Surfaces are cleaned first and disinfected second. Disinfectant applied over dirt does not work, which is why the two steps are kept separate.
A set cleaning order
Consulting rooms and public areas are cleaned before washrooms, so contamination is not carried back through the practice.
Hospital-grade disinfectants
V.I.P. uses GECA-certified products from the Enviroplus, Whiteley and Agar Green ranges, with hospital-grade disinfectants where needed. Safety data sheets are held on site.
Personal protective equipment
Gloves and, where required, eye protection and masks are worn and changed between areas.
Cleaning Records for Your Accreditation Assessment
Accreditation assessors look at the physical environment and at how a practice manages infection prevention. Cleaning is part of that, and what an assessor wants to see is a documentation showing consistent cleaning, done to the highest standards.
Your V.I.P. franchisee works to a written scope of work listing each area and each frequency, covering both routine and periodic cleaning. A certificate of currency for public liability insurance is provided at onboarding, safety data sheets for every product used are held on site, and your franchisee leaves a signed cleaning log or completion record if required.
If your practice runs its own contractor induction or sign-in protocol, your franchisee completes it before the first clean.
Why Australian Practices Choose V.I.P.
The same cleaner, not a rotating crew
Your V.I.P. cleaner is a local business owner who services their own clients. The same person is in your practice each visit, which matters when they are working around patient records and restricted areas.
Checked and insured
Every franchisee is police-checked and fully insured.
Audited quality
State-based Operations Managers audit franchisee sites regularly, so standards are maintained throughout the contract period, rather than slipping after the first month.
Products designed for a healthcare environment
We use GECA-certified, environmentally responsible products, with hospital-grade disinfectants where they are needed.
Backed by our satisfaction guarantee
If you are not happy with a clean, tell your franchisee and they will return and re-clean.
Decades of experience
Australians have trusted V.I.P. with their cleaning for almost 50 years.
Why Triple ISO Certification Matters
Commercial cleaning companies can say they clean to the highest standards, but having Triple ISO Certification means three separate international standards – covering quality, safety and environmental management – have been independently audited and verified.
V.I.P. is triple ISO certified – independently verified against these three standards:
- ISO 9001 Quality Management — defined processes and a structured way of resolving issues.
- ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety — hazard management and safe work practices on your site.
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management — responsible products, reduced waste and verified practices.
All three certifications are audited annually by an external body. They cover our cleaning processes, the safety of everyone on site while we work, and the products we use.
How V.I.P. Medical Centre Cleaning Works
1. Request a quote
Tell us about your practice online or call 13 26 13. We will connect you with the franchisee who covers your area.
2. Site walk-through
Your franchisee and sales manager walk the practice with you – waiting room, consulting and treatment rooms, washrooms and staff areas – and confirm what needs cleaning, how often, and when access is available around consulting hours.
3. Scope, schedule and documentation
You receive a written scope of work, a schedule covering routine and periodic cleaning, and a fixed quote. Insurance documentation is provided at the same time, and your franchisee completes your induction.
4. Ongoing service and review
Cleaning starts on your schedule. Operations Managers audit the work, and the scope is reviewed as your practice changes.
Additional Cleaning and Maintenance Services
V.I.P. franchisees can maintain the whole property, not just the rooms:
- Carpet cleaning – steam cleaning waiting rooms, consulting rooms and offices.
- Window cleaning – internal and external glass.
- High-pressure cleaning – entries, walkways and car parks.
- Grounds and garden maintenance – lawns, gardens and green waste removal.
- Rubbish removal – general waste and clear-outs.
- Regular office cleaning — for practices with separate administration space.
Using one provider for cleaning and grounds means fewer contractors to induct and one person to call.
Medical Centre Cleaning Across Australia
V.I.P.’s franchise network covers metropolitan and regional Australia – including the regional and rural areas where national cleaning contractors have limited or no presence.

FAQ's
When do you clean - during or outside consulting hours?
Most practices are cleaned after the last appointment or early in the morning before opening. Practices with extended or weekend hours are usually split across an early morning and an evening service. Your franchisee will build the schedule around your consulting hours.
What cleaning products do you use?
V.I.P. uses GECA-certified products from the Enviroplus, Whiteley and Agar Green ranges, with hospital-grade disinfectants where they are required. Safety data sheets for every product are held on site.
How do you prevent cross-contamination between clinical and public areas?
Colour-coded cloths, mops and buckets are assigned to washrooms, clinical rooms and public areas, and equipment does not move between them. Surfaces are cleaned first and disinfected second, and washrooms are cleaned last so nothing is carried back through the practice.
What areas do you clean?
Reception and waiting rooms, consulting and treatment rooms, washrooms and accessible bathrooms, staff rooms, kitchens and administration areas. Car parks, entries and grounds can be included where required.
How often should a medical centre be cleaned?
Most practices are cleaned daily. Washrooms and high-touch points in reception often need more than one service on high-volume days, while staff areas and periodic works can sit on a lower frequency. The frequency for each area is set in your scope of work.
Will the same cleaner service our practice each time?
Yes. Every V.I.P. franchisee is a local business owner who services their own clients, so the same person is in your practice each visit.
Do you provide insurance certificates and complete our induction?
Yes. A certificate of currency for public liability insurance is provided as part of onboarding, and your franchisee will complete your contractor induction and follow your sign-in protocols.
How does your cleaning support our accreditation?
Your franchisee works to a written scope of work listing each area and each frequency, covering both routine cleaning and periodic works. That gives your practice a documented cleaning regime to put forward at assessment, rather than an assurance that cleaning happens.
Do you handle clinical waste or sharps?
General waste and recycling are removed as part of the clean. Sharps containers are replaced where this is agreed in your scope, but they stay on site for collection by your licensed clinical waste contractor. V.I.P. does not transport or dispose of clinical waste.
What is the difference between medical centre cleaning and general commercial cleaning?
Medical centre cleaning is a specialist subset of commercial cleaning. It uses hospital-grade disinfectants, separates equipment by area to control cross-contamination, follows a set cleaning order, and works to a documented scope the practice can produce at accreditation. V.I.P. provides general commercial cleaning alongside the specialist service.
